Akl Pasha intends to get married after the death of his wife. His young son tries to dissuade him from this idea, but he fails. So the father contracts the marriage with a beautiful young girl. The girl tries to persuade him to appoint her father to the position of an engineer, while her father does not know how to read and write. He tries to evade the request. Strangely enough, but the girl insists, so he has no choice but to present the request to the Board of Directors.
